By BRIAN STELTER; Compiled by JULIE BLOOM
ABC News and USA Today are setting out together to report from all 50 states in the final weeks before the presidential election. As part of “50 States in 50 Days,” which will begin on Sept. 15, the television programs “Good Morning America,” “World News With Charles Gibson” and “Nightline” will take to the road, with one of the broadcasts originating from a different state almost every day. In announcing the plans on Thursday, ABC said it would cover the “hopes and concerns of Americans” in its daily reports. Reporters from USA Today will cover seven states a week.
